These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Aequia ("we", "our", or "us"). They govern your use of the Aequia mobile application, website, and any related features or services (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.
By downloading the app, creating an account, or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is available to individuals who are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract. By registering you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you represent an organization, you warrant that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You need an account to use most features. Keep your login credentials confidential — you are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you notice any unauthorized activity, please contact contact@aequia.ai right away.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without advance notice. You may also close your own account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. After a 30-day cooling-off period your data will be permanently erased. See our Help Center for details.
You agree that you will not:
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement.
You keep ownership of anything you post ("Your Content"). By submitting it to the Service you grant Aequia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where it has been shared with or saved by other users.
Links to external websites may appear within the Service. We do not endorse or take responsibility for third-party content.
The Aequia name, logo, interface design, source code, and all other proprietary elements of the Service belong to us and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use our trademarks or proprietary materials outside of normal Service use.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. We do not endorse or verify the identity or statements of any user.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Aequia and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or interruption of service — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the total fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold Aequia harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) that arise out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) content you post, or (c) your breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings held in English.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. A failure by us to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aequia regarding the Service.
